Journey Home Community is a local charity in Burnaby that seeks to provide housing and support to refugee claimants. Journey Home offers Welcome Houses for those newly arriving in Canada. They also provide rent assistance, and have partnerships with affordable housing providers. Journey Home also assists with providing basic needs, helping claimants obtain refugee status, assisting in orientation to Canada, and providing a space for community growth and relationships.  

This project includes assembling shelving and organizing  storage space. Volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves if they'd prefer to have them, along with a water bottle.
