Safegaurding
At The Way Church, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where every person is valued, protected, and able to grow in their faith.
Concerns regarding the safety, conduct, or well-being of anyone in our community, including children, youth, and vulnerable adults, will be responded to promptly, diligently, and with sensitivity for all of those involved.
Our Safeguarding Policy
Our Safeguarding Policy outlines the steps we take to protect children, youth, vulnerable adults, and all members of our community, and explains how concerns can be raised and addressed with care, integrity, and accountability.
We view safeguarding not only as a ministry requirement but as a ministry itself—an expression of Christlike care and a witness to our community.

Report a Concern
-
To submit a concern, please complete the following form: Report a Concern. We encourage you to provide as much relevant information as possible so that your concern can be reviewed appropriately.
-
All concerns are handled with discretion and care. Information will be shared only with those who need to be involved in reviewing and responding to the concern; however, there may be circumstances where we are required to report information to appropriate authorities or take additional steps to ensure safety and well-being.
-
Once your concern is submitted, it will be reviewed by our Safeguarding Administrator, Todd Lueck, in accordance with our safeguarding procedures. The appropriate next steps will be determined based on the nature of the concern, and action will be taken as necessary to ensure it is addressed responsibly, compassionately, and in a timely manner.
