At The Way Church, you're welcome to explore faith, church, and what it means to have a relationship with Jesus. We know it can feel intimidating to know where to start — the resources below are great introductory tools we believe will help you take that first step.
Attend an Alpha
Alpha is an ten-week course designed to help you explore the basics of the Christian faith in a low-pressure, discussion-based environment. Each week there’s time to connect with others, watch a short film on an aspect of the Christian faith, and discuss your questions with others.
Attend a Sunday Service
If you’ve never been to church before, we understand it can feel a little intimidating. We want you to know you are welcome as you are, no matter what you believe or where you’re at with faith, Jesus, and the church.
What to expect:
Our Sunday services include times of worship through music, teaching from the Bible, opportunities for prayer (to receive prayer and pray with others), and a time of connection with others.
Services last approximately an hour and a half, and we would recommend arriving a little early to find a seat and get settled in.
Depending on what prior church experience you’ve had, you may be wondering what to wear to church. We believe that God cares more about the state of your heart than your outward appearance, so please come as you are. You’ll see people dressed in a variety of styles, from casual to more formal attire.

A Response to Questions on Sexuality
Our hope is that these pages will function as an invitation out of our encrusted echo-chambers. It is an opportunity to step across deeply entrenched battle-lines, to take a fresh look at the historic Christian teaching on sexuality, and investigate its plausibility in our cultural moment.
