MARK BUCHANAN

Mark Buchanan is a pastor, author, and associate professor at Ambrose University. He has written 10 books, both non-fiction and fiction, and his greatest joys are sitting by a fire with a good book or walking deep in the wilderness. His primary and lifelong question is what it means to be fully human, and he endeavours to help others understand themselves.

    • Check in is open from 6-8PM on Friday.

    • Check out is at 12:30PM on Sunday.

    • Anyone 15+ is welcome to the Men’s Retreat.

  • What to bring:

    • Weather-appropriate clothing (it will be cold!) 

    • Active indoor clothing (if you plan on participating in pickleball, volleyball, etc.)

    • Wallet (specialty coffee available for purchase at the cafe)

    • Phone & charger (cell reception is poor but wifi is available)

    • Your favourite board/card game or a good book to read

    • Toiletries

    • Bible

    What not to bring:

    • No pool or lake access, so no swimsuit needed!
