For millennia, the Book of Psalms has served as the spiritual songbook of the church, shaping liturgies, prayers, and worship practices across generations. These sacred songs continue to inspire and guide God's people today. While all 150 psalms share common themes, they also encompass a variety of literary genres—such as lament, thanksgiving, royal, wisdom, and imprecatory—that deepen their meaning and purpose.
This course will explore a diverse selection of psalms, examining how understanding their unique genres can enrich our personal devotion and enhance corporate worship. Participants will learn to interpret and incorporate the psalms more intentionally, allowing their rich diversity to inform and deepen prayer and praise in both individual and communal settings.
This course will run from 9-10:30AM on Thursdays at our Ministry Centre.
