Christmas Benevolence
We love Christmas and the wonder it brings—celebrating the arrival of our Saviour, gathering with family, and sharing in the beauty of giving gifts to those we love.
We also recognize that within all of the joy of the season, Christmas can be a time of unique complexity. The holidays often bring up challenges for families & individuals, whether through additional financial hardship, acute awareness of deep loss, heightened loneliness & weariness, or simply feeling stretched thin.
Our hope is that as a church community, we would be growing in our ability to care for and support one another through challenging seasons. The early church was known for sharing all things in common, convinced that no one in their community should be in need in the midst of real challenges. This Christmas, we are taking practical steps toward the same end.
The generosity of our church makes it possible for us to come alongside families and individuals in our community who have had a challenging year. If you, your family, or someone you know would be blessed through a Christmas hamper this season, please let us know.
Tell us a little about yourself or someone in your life with the form below. Submissions will close on December 15th at 11:59 PM to give our team adequate time to prepare before Christmas.
