Our desire is to create dynamic environments where people can freely explore Christianity and ask questions.
If you’re new to Christianity or church, it can be intimidating knowing where to start. At The Way Church, you are welcome to freely explore faith, church, and what it means to have a relationship with Jesus. The resources below are a great place to start.
ATTEND AN ALPHA
Alpha is an 11-week course designed to help you explore the basics of the Christian faith in a low-pressure, discussion-based environment. Each week there’s time to connect with others, watch a short film on an aspect of the Christian faith, and discuss your questions with others.
ATTEND A SUNDAY SERVICE
If you’ve never been to church before, we get that it can be a little intimidating. We want you to know that you are welcome as you are, no matter what you believe or where you’re at with faith, Jesus, and the church.
What to expect
Our Sunday services include times of worship through music, teaching from the Bible, opportunities for prayer (to get prayed for and to join in on praying with others), and a time of connection with others.
Services last approximately an hour and a half and we would recommend arriving a little early to find a seat and get settled in.
Depending on what prior church experience you’ve had, you may be wondering what to wear to church. We believe that God cares more about the state of your heart than your outward appearance, so please come as you are. You’ll see people dressed in a variety of styles, from casual to more formal attire.
