Summer Intensives - July 2-6
This summer, The Way College will run two unique learning experiences as one combined offering. The Summer Intensives will provide accessible learning opportunities for people in the local church to grow in the areas of biblical studies, theology, and other current key themes and topics. Throughout one week (July 2-6), students will engage with leading thinkers and practitioners, participate in a rich learning environment, and come away both enriched and encouraged.
Consumed Conference (The Way Youth)
The Way Youth are heading to Vancouver Island to attend Consumed Conference (April 26-28) in Courtenay, BC.
We believe that conferences like these create unique opportunities for powerful God encounters that deepen our faith. We consider these conference moments, along with our regular youth nights, as essential elements of a robust faith formation for our youth.

Alpha is a place to explore big questions about life, faith, meaning, and God in an open and honest environment.
If you’re curious about Alpha, the Launch Party is the perfect place for you. It’s a fun evening to meet new friends, hear more about Alpha and see if it’d be a good fit for you. There will be free food, live music, and a short video about Alpha.

Freedom Session Graduation
We have 75 amazing individuals graduating from Freedom Session on Thursday, February 29. Each participant has spent 21 weeks in community, teaching, and opening their lives up to Jesus. Many have experienced healing and breakthrough and will be sharing some stories and celebrating the journey together.
Annual Community Meeting
A time to share about our approach to governance, board, staff, budget, and ministry vision looking back with gratitude and forward to cast vision for our church. It is an opportunity to invite those who call the church their home and who give financially to see more tangibly how their donations are being used and to answer common questions they may have about leadership, governance, and finances.

21 Days of Prayer
We are dedicating 21 days in January to prayer.
We will be praying for our church, our city, our friends and family who don’t yet know Jesus, and for our partners who are doing incredible kingdom work locally and around the world. We invite you to pray on your own but also at prayer gatherings throughout the week. This is a special time in the life of our church where we get to link arms and intercede together as we look to 2024.
New Year's Skate
Spend New Year's Day with us at the rink! We are kicking off the new year as a church by renting out Britannia Rink for the afternoon. There's no cost to join us, other than skate rentals! Snacks and hot drinks will be provided.

Baptism is an important milestone in a life of a believer who has consciously chosen to follow Christ.
It is an opportunity for them to publicly declare their faith in Jesus and commit to follow Him with the entirety of their lives.

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward trust in and love for Jesus. A believer is put under the water, which symbolizes dying to an old way of life. They are then brought up out of the water, symbolizing them resurrecting to a new way of life — lived for Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is a significant moment to “bury” their old life, old habits, old ways and begin to walk in a new life. In other words, baptism is a visible representation that a person is identifying with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus (Romans 6:3-5).

Parent Resource Night
These nights exist to equip you as parents, and give you the opportunity to connect with others from our church while discussing what it looks like to be a parent today.
We will be hosting a Q&R Panel featuring pastors, parents, and two local clinical counselors. We will be asking the panelists various questions that parents have submitted, with the hopes of facilitating a conversation that inspires attendees, cultivates dialogue, and helps parents in their journey.
Dinner Parties: A Women's Night
Get to know the women of The Way Church! An evening for women, hosted by women of our church, to connect meaningfully in smaller groups, around the dinner table. Come for a potluck-style meal, good conversation and get to know the women of our church in your neighbourhood.
